The Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL combines full spectrum infrared heating, traditional sauna heat, and red light in one spacious 4-person sauna. The system features UL Listed Spectrum Plus™ infrared heaters together with Carbon 360° infrared panels and a Harvia KIP 4.5kW traditional sauna heater. The traditional heater uses sauna stones that can be sprinkled with water to create steam, giving you the option to enjoy both infrared and traditional sauna sessions in the same unit.
3-in-1 Infrared and Traditional Sauna System
The FD-5 Trinity XL brings together three sauna technologies in one integrated design: infrared heating, traditional sauna heating, and a 650nm red light panel with chromotherapy. The infrared system combines Spectrum Plus™ short-wave infrared heaters with Carbon 360° infrared heating panels, while the Harvia KIP traditional heater provides conventional sauna heat and allows water to be poured over the sauna stones.
The infrared system is rated at 2700W and can reach up to 170°F. The traditional Harvia heater is rated at 4.5kW and can reach up to 190°F.
Western Canadian Cedar and Thermal Plus™ Aspen
The FD-5 features an A-Grade Western Canadian Cedar interior and a Thermal Plus™ Aspen exterior. The cedar interior is naturally antimicrobial, while the heat-treated Aspen exterior provides a stable and durable exterior construction. The sauna uses a premium double-wall construction designed for consistent performance.

Harvia KIP 4.5kW Traditional Sauna Heater
The FD-5 includes a Harvia KIP 4.5kW electric sauna heater with stainless steel construction and built-in controls. The wall-mounted heater is designed for sauna rooms from 100 to 210 cu. ft. and uses sauna stones that can be sprinkled with water to create steam.

Electrical Requirements
The FD-5 uses separate electrical connections for its infrared and traditional heating systems. The infrared system operates at 240V / 15A with a NEMA 6-15 plug. The traditional Harvia KIP heater requires a 240V / 20A hardwired connection and should be installed by a licensed electrician.
